Case Study 2 - GUERILLA WI-FI HELPS TO BRIDGE THE DIVIDE By: Adrian Cervantes

1. Should  Internet  providers be pressured to allow to share their connections with “ non-paying” 

customers?


Answer:  No because,  Internet providers  are also using money to provide internet, so the

clients must pay to have connection for the company to earn profit.

2. Would you share your connection  with a total stranger even if it  meant that you would

sometimes experience a slowdown to your connection speed?

Answer:  yes, but  it is only limited number of user. Internet connectivity  depends on  the
number of user.  The more the user  the slower  its speed.

3. How are the digital divide and computer literacy related?

Answer:  first let us define the terms; a Digital Divide refers to the gap between those who can
benefit from digital technology and those who cannot.  And Computer literacy is simply defines
knowing how computers work and operate.  They are related because they both discuss computer
users and usability.
